Dr. Robert Abate, Jr. is a proud native of Rocky Hill, where he resides with his wife. A dedicated family man, he is passionate about educating and empowering those around him through holistic and preventative healthcare. His mission is to help individuals achieve optimal well-being by focusing on natural healing and proactive wellness strategies.
A Lifelong Passion for Chiropractic Care
Dr. Abate’s journey into chiropractic began over 20 years ago when, as a young athlete, he experienced firsthand the transformative benefits of chiropractic adjustments. Since then, chiropractic care has been an integral part of his lifestyle, allowing him to maintain peak performance both in sports and in life. His dedication to promoting health through movement, nutrition, and overall well-being inspired him to pursue a career in chiropractic medicine.
Education & Professional Background
Dr. Abate earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Central Connecticut State University in 2011. As a scholar-athlete and defensive back on the 2009 NEC Championship football team, he developed a deep understanding of the connection between movement, performance, and recovery. He is also a Certified Exercise Physiologist, holding a personal training certification through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Driven by his passion for helping others, Dr. Abate went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic. Today, he continues to apply his expertise to help individuals of all ages achieve optimal health through natural, drug-free chiropractic care.
